I think that I am writing a Research Essay. I think that I am writing a research essay because I researched self portraits and I wrote about all the things that I learned. I wrote about many different artists who have created multiple numbers of self portraits. In my essay, I described the many different types of self portraits and showed what artists utilized the different types. So I think that my essay is a research essay.
I do think my essay will educate the readers because while writing the essay, I learned many different things that I did not know. I learned while writing the essay and I think that the readers will learn while reading the essay as well.
